As a boy, born with no arms or legs, Nick Vujicic faced incredible challenges. The love and encouragement of his family and God has helped form him into a world renowned evangelist who is touching the lives of millions of people around the world. He’s now married with four children, including newborn identical twin girls. Nick says that will likely slow down his travel, but not his ministry.
Having four children keeps he and his wife, Kanae, very busy. That’s it for now, baby-wise, but they may look into fostering or adoption in the future.
Nick’s passion for Jesus and seeing others experience Him has only intensified. Nick has two caregivers, one works days he is at home and one for travel days. They each basically work about 15 days a month.
When asked about some of his favorite things including food, he was quick to respond steak and seafood! He describes himself as “Someone who understands the sobering mindset of being a General in the Army of God, taking over territory for His Kingdom, ready by His grace to stand in front of the gates of hell and redirect traffic. And yet embracing as much as possible the vision of the Great Commission, to preach the Gospel to everyone. Yet being the best father and husband that I can be and being home as much as possible.” He credits technology in 2018 to make that possible by the grace of God.
Nick’s favorite Scripture is Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you a hope and a future.”
He is blessed by his calling from God to use him, a limbless man, sent all around the world to be His hands and feet. “If God can use a man without arms and legs to be His hands and feet, then God can use any willing heart.”
Nick’s new book shares more about his calling and hopes. It’s appropriately called, “Be the Hands and Feet: Living Out God’s Love for All His Children.”
